School tours start at 9:30 and 12:30 Monday through Friday.  Since we are only able to accomodate 6 classrooms for each tour time,  your tour  becomes more personalized.  Your students will experience what it is like to be on a real, working orchard.  We start our tours viewing three demonstration areas:  bees (no live bees in area), trees, and farm equipment.   Johnny Appleseed, (aka Ron Green of
Bristol, IN or Ken Graves of Anderson, SC),  comes to our orchard to visit with the students and talk about how Johnny got to Indiana.

After students have visited each area we all walk out into the orchard and students pick a 1/4 peck of apples right off the trees.  We then walk back to our common area where eveyone gets a taste of apple cider, Amish Peanut Butter and our famous Caramel Apple Dip.  Tours last between 1 to 1 1/2 hours.  Many schools choose to bring blankets and have lunch on the lawn of the orchard.

We pride ourselves on providing a fun and educational experience for students.
