Mowry's Fruit Farm is a family owned and operated business. The farm has been in the Mowry family for over 56 years. We are conviently located off I-65;approximately 4 miles east of downtown Crown Point and approximately 45 minutes southeast of Chicago.
The orchard was started in 1979. In addition to apples we also have pears and honey from our own bee hives. Our orchard is a U-Pick operation which means you can come to the orchard and pick your own apples; guaranteeing you the freshness you deserve. Honey Crisp apples are the only variety which is already picked (around the middle of September), all other apples are picked by you.
If you are looking for a relaxing, real farm experience, without chaos and extreme crowds, then Mowry's Furit Farm is the place for you.
NO entrance fee and you can drive into the orchard to find your apples.
We are open mid August to October 31st.
